Stevenston in North Ayrshire saw the largest surge in January parcel deliveries this year, according to data collated by PayPoint on behalf of the CollectPlus network.
The town saw a 90% increase in parcel collections in the first month of 2020, when compared to the same month last year, as savvy shoppers took advantage of the January sales.
With a mere 67% increase, Lymm in Cheshire came a distant second while Rutherglen took the final podium place with its 59% rise.
Paypoint’s Parcels Director Gary Winter said: “We understand customers expect increased flexibility when ordering online.
