Mars Wrigley is expanding its fruity confectionery range with Skittles Flavour Flip, set to hit shelves nationwide from June 2026.
The range includes pouch (136g) and treat (109g) bags aimed at younger adult shoppers, built around a shareable, multi-sensory eating experience. Each sweet combines two flavours and colours in one bite.
Five sweet and sour combinations are available: Strawberry & Watermelon, Lemon & Raspberry, Pomegranate & Apple, Lime & Cherry, and Mandarin & Pineapple. Each piece has a crisp shell with a soft, chewy centre designed to deliver contrasting flavours.
The launch will be supported by a multi-channel summer campaign, ‘Flip Your Tastebuds Inside Out’.
The new line targets growth in the £1.7bn fruity confectionery segment. Research shows 53% of UK consumers seek unusual flavours, while 74% of those purchasing limited-edition flavours are spontaneous shoppers, supporting impulse sales.
