Cadbury, currently on the look-out for a new Milk Tray Man, clearly isn’t pinning its hopes on a member of the public being able to fill the famous black polo neck. News has leaked out of a star-studded bootcamp where celebrities are battling it out to claim the title.
Thom Evans, Denise Lewis, James Coombes, Joey Essex and Spencer Matthews all certainly look the part, but are they thoughtful, caring and daring enough?
The bootcamp is part of a two-month-long £4m campaign to find a replacement for original Milk Tray Man Coombes, who last abseiled out of a helicopter in 1987. Retailers, or indeed anyone who fancies diving through windows clutching a box of chocolates, can apply online at www.newmilktrayman.com.
