Imperial Brands has added Players Classic to its Players cigarette range.
Available in Kingsize and Superking formats with an RSP of £14.60, Players Classic is aimed at value-conscious adult smokers looking for full-strength cigarettes.
The new cigarette contains a mixed leaf blend combining Virginia, Burley and Oriental tobaccos.
Imperial Brands said the higher-moisture tobacco blend contributes to a slower burn. The company added that the product was one of the highest-rated in its taste profile in recent consumer testing.
The Players brand is chosen by almost one in 10 smokers in the UK.
