Mars Ice Cream has launched a new on-pack promotion, which will see in excess of 100,000 ice creams given away. It follows on from the Mars Chocolate 1 in 6 campaign, which Mars says generated an increase of consumers into the chocolate category and drove footfall into stores.
The instant win promotion will include Mars, Snickers, Bounty and Maltesers Singles, as well as Mars and Snickers six packs, and assures one in six purchasers a win in the form of another Mars ice cream bar. It runs until 31st October 2015 and is supported by a national outdoor poster campaign.
Bep Dhaliwal, Trade Relations Manager at Mars said: “The Mars Chocolate promotion saw redemption rates being near double, which demonstrates that consumers are highly engaged with this type of promotion and love the participating brands.
