NFRN creates face mask poster

Customers wearing face masks

A new poster for Scottish members to display within their stores has been created by the Federation of Independent Retailers (NFRN) to remind customers that they must wear face coverings whilst shopping unless they are exempt from the new rule that came into effect on 10 July.

NFRN National President Stuart Reddish said: “This poster is a further effort to ensure that our members, their employees and customers remain safe – and within the law – throughout the coronavirus pandemic.

“The NFRN encourages all Scottish members to download and use the poster within their stores to avoid any confusion amongst members of the public, who may be unaware of the new law.”

Reddish also encouraged members in England, Wales and Northern Ireland who have decided to make face coverings mandatory within their stores to use the poster.

The poster is available in colour and monochrome versions from the NFRN website.
