Matt Heslop is to step down as Director of Convenience and Wholesale at Morrisons.
Heslop joined Morrisons in March last year and had previously been at Lidl for over 20 years in a number of roles, most recently as Chief Operating Officer and Board Member of Lidl UK.
At the time of his appointment, Morrisons highlighted Heslop’s vast experience in food retail with a long record of delivering growth, innovation and excellence for the customer.
He reported directly to Chief Executive Officer Rami Baitiéh who called him an “outstanding” retailer.
