Mars Chocolate is extending its portfolio of pricemarked packs (PMPs) to include an additional six products.
The new additions to Mars’ range of PMPs includes Mars, Snickers, Twix, Bounty and Maltesers singles – all of which are available for an rrp of 50p now – as well as a Maltesers Teasers single which will be released in the New Year. The new PMPs will sit alongside Mars’ standard range of chocolate confectionery.
Bep Dhaliwal, Trade Communications Manager, Mars Chocolate UK, said: “We’re excited to continue to grow our range of pricemarked packs with the addition some of our best sellers. Retailers not only see PMPs as better value for themselves and their customers, but also as a key footfall driver, attracting more shoppers to store and ultimately generating sales growth.
“As shoppers continue to look for the best deals on their favourite chocolate confectionery, pricemarked packs now account for 60% of sales at independent stores and we expect to see this trend rise again in 2016.”
To support the launch of the new PMPs and bring this to life in store, retailers will be able to choose from a range of impactful POS and display solutions including standees, aisle flags and shelf barkers, from February next year.
