Heineken has unveiled an on-demand delivery partnership with Deliveroo, which will allow shoppers to order Heineken beer and cider directly to their doors from Star Retailers.
Named Brew House, the service will launch across 15 of Heineken’s partner stores in London and will be rolled out nationwide by the end of the year. To get involved, retailers will need to be located within Deliveroo’s delivery zones and ensure their stores are well stocked with the selection of Heineken products available on Brew House (full list below). Star Retailers will be able to confirm Brew House orders via a tablet set up by Deliveroo before the courier picks up and delivers the order.
Heineken says the partnership represents an “incredible opportunity” for Star Retailer stores to drive sales on quieter week days from a premium product range.
At first glance it also appears to offer an incredible opportunity for underage drinkers. However thirsty youngsters trying to pull a fast one with dad’s credit card will be left disappointed. Deliveroo riders have been trained on ‘Challenge 25’ and will be checking for proof of age when appropriate.

Brew House has been designed as a vehicle to bring retailers and shoppers closer and we are looking forward to seeing the service roll out with our customers across the nation.”
Brew House will sit within the Deliveroo app and offer shoppers beer and cider deliveries straight to their door and offices within 20 minutes. The following range of chilled Heineken products will be available for delivery:
