French whisky brand Celtic Whisky Distillerie has launched a new mixed-malt blended whisky, Gwalarn Celtic Malt.
Distilled with 100% malt, Gwalarn Celtic Malt is a blend of three single malts from across the Celtic world, described as “a rigorous selection of Scottish whiskies, with the character of German malts and the finesse of the best French single malts, formulated by the distillery’s expert Cellar Master”.
The premium spirit joins the growing Celtic Whisky family, alongside the previously launched Gwalarn Celtic Whisky Blend and the distillery’s established French whiskies Glann Ar Mor and Kornog.
Founded in 1997, Celtic Whisky Distillerie is one of France’s most well-known distilleries and is dedicated to producing quality, authentic malt whisky using traditional Celtic techniques.
Paragon Brands distributes Gwalarn in the UK. Managing Director Chris Jones said: “French whisky is a fast-growing market, sculpted by its premium quality and distinctive blending. We’re sure that whisky fans will be swept away by this remarkable single malt.”
Gwalarn Celtic Malt is available in the UK in 70cl bottles from Paragon Brands, RSP £53.49.
