Glasgow post office reopens after major refurbishment

Peterson Park Post Office on Yokermill Road, Glasgow, has reopened after a seven-month-long refurbishment.

The post office is now sited in a new Nisa Local store, which was previously independent, with customers able to access post office services at a serving point integrated with the retail counter.

The store, which opened last month, stocks day-to-day groceries, chilled, frozen, confectionery, alcohol including kegs, vapes, and CBD.

It also features a Costa Coffee Express, Gelato Dessert Parlour, and a Subway-style Deli.

Scott Hamilton, Post Office Network Provision lead, said: “The new-look shop and Post Office look fantastic – such a transformation.

“The branch is now open longer too and there is a much wider range of stock.”
