Bashir Naeem, who already owns Nisa Buckhaven in Leven, has opened a second store in Dalgety Bay, Dunfermline.
The store, which previously operated as a Co-op, has been refitted after a substantial investment from Bashir, resulting in new counters and shelving, a full redecoration and updated signage to create a brighter and more contemporary feel.
In addition to everyday essentials, chilled food and snacks, customers can now buy fresh flowers, sweet treats from Stephens Bakery and healthy meals from Savage Kitchen, as well as having access to PayPoint facilities and a free-to-use cash machine.
Naeem said: “We’re thrilled to have reopened the Dalgety Bay store and it’s been fantastic to see such a positive response from the community. Our goal was to create a store that offers great value, more choice and a modern, friendly shopping experience – and it’s wonderful to see customers already embracing it.”
The transformation was supported by Co-op Wholesale, which provided guidance on layout, systems and merchandising.
