Duncan’s Eggs has been named an official supporter of the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games and Team Scotland.
The Aberdeenshire-based producer will supply 200,000 free-range eggs for the event, helping to fuel more than 3,000 athletes from 74 nations and territories throughout the Games.
The partnership will see Duncan’s Eggs showcase Scottish agriculture on an international stage, with full traceability from field to fork. The brand’s Egg Tracker system allows consumers to trace products back to the originating farm.
Sustainability is a shared focus between the producer and the Games, with Duncan’s Eggs highlighting its use of renewable energy, home-grown feed and biodiversity initiatives across its farms. Glasgow 2026 has set out ambitions to deliver a lower-impact event.
Members of Team Scotland’s basketball squad attended the partnership launch, with player Ella Doherty welcoming the move: “When we heard about the partnership with Duncan’s Eggs today at our selection announcement we were delighted. My teammates and I eat a lot of eggs so these will go down very well during the Commonwealth Games. Having a Scottish farm lend their support to Team Scotland and the wider Games is really fantastic.”
