CCEP hooked up with Spar Scotland to do three store takeovers in Glasgow during the recent Commonwealth Games to help boost footfall and sales.


Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP), an official sponsor of the recent Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, hooked up with Spar Scotland wholesaler and retailer CJ Lang to help three company-owned stores make the most of the sporting opportunity.

CCEP carried out three store takeovers at stores in the city – Spar Scotstoun, Spar Garthamlock and Spar Cranhill – to put CCEP brands and the Commonwealth Games front and centre for customers at each store.

The activations included extensive window vinyls, posters, shelf talkers and FSDUs ting huge impact and helping drive additional footfall and sales for the stores.

The project was part of a wider programme of activity across stores, bars, cafes and pubs across the city centre to help operators tap into the Commonwealth Games activity.
