Costcutter Supermarkets Group (CSG) has added to its range of Covid-19 support materials and guidance for retailers.
All materials are now available for free to independent retailers from the Freshstart website.
The online support package includes a comprehensive guide to implementing social distancing in store and vital point-of-sale materials. Individual Costcutter retailers also share their experience of serving their communities during the pandemic.
These include Dave Wyatt, Store Manager at Crawley Down Costcutter and Shell garage. He said: “Nothing is more important to us than the safety and health of our shoppers and staff and the feedback we’re receiving to our in-store safety measures and social media guidance is amazing.
“Not only do our shoppers tell us they feel safer, but we are also seeing new shoppers come to our store because they have heard about the enhanced safety measures we’ve put in place.”
Dave and the other Costcutter retailers featured on the Freshstart website offer advice on social distancing measures; help for vulnerable customers and key workers; and the use of social media to ensure their online presence offers the right guidance and support for shoppers.
