Spar Scotland wholesaler and retailer CJ Lang is celebrating after landing an internationally-recognised award for demonstrating high health and safety standards.
The RoSPA President’s Health and Safety Award comes in recognition of the company’s efforts to ensure its staff get home safely to their families at the end of every working day. The President’s Award was presented to the company after it received 11 consecutive Gold Awards.
Sandy Fowler, CJ Lang’s Group HSE Manager said: “We are absolutely delighted to have been awarded a President’s Award for achieving 11 consecutive Gold Awards by RoSPA in recognition of the Company’s continued commitment and the efforts of all our colleagues in both maintaining the highest standards of health and safety and providing a safe environment in which to work.”
Organisations receiving a RoSPA award are recognised as being world-leaders in health and safety practice. Every year, nearly 2,000 entrants vie to achieve the highest possible accolade in what is the UK’s longest-running H&S industry awards.
