Walkers goes barmy for sarnies

Walkers has created a new TV ad to bolster its latest sandwich-inspired flavours campaign.

Building on its tie-up with Heinz to launch the six limited-edition flavours which include Bacon & Tomato Ketchup; Ham & Mustard; and Cheese, Cucumber & Salad Cream, Walkers’ latest activity also gives consumers the chance to win £10,000 every week, as well as sandwich-themed prizes and free crisps.

In the new advert, brand ambassador Gary Lineker is joined by so-called ‘cheeky chappie’ Paddy McGuiness to run a club serving only crisp sandwiches. The new commercial, which sees Lineker and McGuinness take over a real café launches on 1st September. During filming one lucky customer received £10,000 in a sandwich.
