Unitas Wholesale has successfully staged its first-ever virtual trade show, held on 14 to 18 September 2020.
The event was publicised to members through e-marketing and social media, and hosted on the Unitas Wholesale website. Member wholesalers engaged with the digital event well, with a 180% increase in page views and a 66% uplift in average user duration on the website.
Unitas Wholesale members were able to take advantage of a range of upweighted deals from over 100 leading brands, negotiated exclusively for the show. The event also delivered on creating an environment to facilitate focused communication between member wholesalers and supplier partners, while showcasing new product developments and business insights from over 30 key brands.
Unitas Wholesale Managing Director Darren Goldney reiterated the importance of building on previous successes through the new look virtual event: “In light of the pandemic, it was imperative that we continued to deliver in these areas through the development of a Virtual Trade Show platform.
“Initial feedback has been extremely positive, and I’d like to thank our member wholesalers for their participation and our supplier partners for supporting the event with exclusive deals and great digital content.”
