You’ve got to hand it to Aldi. Buoyed by strong numbers and an increasing demand for discount food stuffs, the German retailer has rolled up its sleeves and challenged Tesco to a scrap, in its own front garden. Mere inches from the boundary of this Tesco store in Falkirk, Aldi is in the process of building its own shop and UTC for one wishes it all the best. Which one will triumph?
