Spar Scotland has made a special donation to the staff of Crosshouse Hospital, Ayrshire.
The retailer held a morning of activity for everyone to take part in with prizes to win from the Spar spinning wheel, product samples, and giveaways from Browning’s and Snappy Shopper.
All hospital staff also received 25% off COOK vouchers which were redeemable at Spar Crosshouse.
In addition, Spar Scotland also donated £1,000 to the hospital for their endowment fund.
Spar’s national charity partner Marie Curie also provided information about its products and services.
Russel Morrison, Area Manager for Spar Scotland said: “This event at Crosshouse Hospital is a way of us saying thank you to the staff who visit our store between shifts and we look forward to working with the team in the future.”
Yvonne Gormley, Business Manager at Crosshouse Hospital, said: “It was great to have staff from our local Spar store on site. The girls were lovely and provided many delicious treats which were thoroughly enjoyed by staff, patients and visitors. A great initiative from a local business that was very much appreciated.”
