Snappy Shopper reports soaring sales

Snappy Shopper has reported a bumper summer for sales, as the demand for delivery rose with the soaring temperatures.

The home delivery platform saw record-breaking order numbers and GMV between 1 June to 31 August 2022, continuing the high growth achieved post pandemic as customers continue to support their favourite local retailers.

The report also highlighted that the average basket spend is £7.27, while retailers reported a £26 average basket spend through Snappy.

Mike Callachan, Chief Executive at Snappy Shopper, said: “The demand for home delivery and the desire to shop locally is greater than ever with Snappy Shopper reaching another sales milestone in the last quarter.

“Our model of partnering with retailers and using our world class technology to enable the existing network of convenience stores, is the most sustainable way to meet the growing consumer demand for rapid grocery delivery.”
