Philip Morris Limited (PML) has appointed Bahar Demirci as Senior Director of Smoke-Free Products for the UK and Ireland.
Demirci will oversee the company’s smoke-free product portfolio across both markets, leading the smoke-free transition through online and offline channels. She will also be responsible for future brand strategies and ensuring brand strength amid a changing regulatory environment.
Having joined Philip Morris International (PMI) in 2005, Demirci has held roles across several markets including Egypt, Jordan and Switzerland. She joins the UK business from her position as Global Head of Studio One, where she led global marketing content creation for PMI’s smoke-free product portfolio, including IQOS, VEEV and ZYN.
In her new role, Demirci will focus on shaping PML’s multi-category portfolio, driving category strategy and developing PMI’s smoke-free product brands. She succeeds Baris Ozcan, who has been appointed Vice President Smoke-Free Products Category Europe Region at PMI.
