A tale of two Vinnies

Vinnie Jones

Pepsi Max has launched a new advert that unites its latest brand ambassador Jack Grealish with fellow soccer stars Son Heung-Min, Vini Jr. and Leah Williamson for a game of street football.

The opening salvo in the brand’s ‘Where There’s A Ball There’s A Way’ campaign, the ad is live now and is supported with social media content focusing on each of the four footballers.

The global campaign – which launches to coincide with Pepsi Max’s partnership with the UEFA Champions League – aims to demonstrate the power of football to bring enjoyment regardless of how or where it’s played.

The new advert was shot in the shadow of Wembley’s arch – where this year’s Champions League final will play out – and features a group of Londoners who challenge the Pepsi Max ambassadors to a game of keepy-uppy. It concludes with former Wimbledon hard man Vinnie Jones going head-to-head with Vini Jr., while proclaiming, “There’s only one Vinnie J.”

Further activity under ‘Where There’s A Ball There’s A Way’ will see Pepsi Max challenge conventions that prevent people from playing football through fashion collaborations, entertainment and social content.
