Nisa launches new initiative to make a difference in local communities

Nisa’s Making a Difference Locally (MADL) charity is celebrating its 15th anniversary by launching Club 15, a new initiative that will bring retailers, suppliers, and Nisa staff together to make a difference in local communities.

Club 15 will select 15 Nisa retailers from across the UK to participate in a year-long partnership with MADL. The selected retailers will receive a variety of benefits, including:

  • A year-long support package from MADL, including training on how to fundraise, access partner forums, and one-on-one support from the MADL team.
  • A monthly raffle to win a £500 donation to their chosen cause.
  • Support to run A Day to Make a Difference with marketing assistance.
  • Inclusion in Consortium Magazine with a small MADL write-up about their community support.
  • Increased loyalty to MADL and the Co-op brand.
  • A personalised panel on the first page of MADL leaflets highlighting their chosen year-long cause.

The Club 15 initiative is open to all Nisa retailers, regardless of their size or experience. To apply, retailers should visit the MADL website.

Kate Carroll, Head of Charity at Nisa, said: “This initiativeis a great opportunity for retailers to elevate their community support and get the support they need to make a real impact.”

Since its launch in 2008, MADL has donated over £16m to more than 10,000 charities and good causes across the UK.
