Monster hopes gamers will answer the call of duty

Ghost from Call of Duty

Coca-Cola Europacific Partners (CCEP) has announced the return of Monster Energy’s promotion in partnership with Call of Duty.

Call of Duty has been the world’s top gaming franchise for the last 12 years, with more than 24bn hours played since 2017.

Running until the end of the year, the new on-pack promo runs across a number of Monster variants including Original, Ultra White and new Zero Sugar.

Gamers can scan QR codes on promotional packs to earn 10 minutes’ worth of double experience points. This allows players to advance more quickly through the game. For more information, ask the nearest teenage boy.

Promotional packs feature the Call of Duty character Ghost to drive standout on-shelf. Convenience retailers can request POS materials from My.CCEP.com.

The promo will be supported by gamer influencer activities and several high-profile media partnerships.

Pippa Foster, Associate Director of Commercial Development at CCEP GB, said: “Our Monster fans expect high impact, unmissable experiences, as well as exclusive gaming prizes and that’s exactly what we’re delivering.

“Monster growth is showing no signs of slowing down and we’re encouraging retailers to get on board and take full advantage of this promotion as we bring together these two iconic brands once again.”
