Sutherland Brothers of Wick has announced the appointment of Tom Maclennan to run the Company’s sales force and to maximise opportunities in the Highlands & Islands. Maclennan joins Sutherland Brothers from his previous role as Channel Director at Molson Coors where he gained 26 years’ experience across a wide range of sales-related disciplines.
Maclennan said of his new role: “I’m delighted to be working for a company that is investing so heavily in technology, supply chain and people when so many seem to be re-trenching and cutting back. Sutherland Brothers have a clear plan for growth and I’m excited to be playing a part in it and ensuring that the Sutherland Brothers service offer continues to be regarded as the best in class.”
Family-owned Sutherland Brothers was established in 1892 and has grown to become the premier wholesaler for the North of Scotland.
