Maybole’s improved Co-op set to open

Co-op is set to open a new, improved and larger store in Maybole, south Ayrshire, on Friday (9 June).

The 5,000sq ft store is more than 2,000sq ft larger than the retailer’s existing store in the town, which is relocating to the new Kirkoswald Road location.

The store features customer car parking, free-to-use ATM, in-store bakery, hot food, a Costa coffee machine, Amazon Lockers, and a soft plastic recycle unit.

Jonathan Kirkland, Co-op Store Manager, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to launch Co-op’s newest store, and the team is really looking forward to welcoming the community into their new and improved Co-op.

“Our aim is to operate at the heart of local life, and we have worked to develop the range, choice and added services to create a compelling offer to serve the community, conveniently.”

The store will open 6am-10pm daily.
