Marks and Spencer opens new Glasgow food store

A new Marks & Spencer food store has opened in Glasgow’s Southside.

The 3,000sq ft store on Grange Road, in Battlefield, has been built in partnership with Marks & Spencer licensee HM Stanley.

Sean Geddes, Managing Director of The Explorer Group – the parent company of HM Standley, told Glasgow Times: “This new store marks the first of an ambitious roll-out of M&S Food Convenience stores across Scotland by HM Stanley in partnership with Marks and Spencer.

“We can’t wait to welcome the local community through the doors and let them experience it for themselves.”

The store, which has created 20 new jobs in the area, will be opened Monday to Sunday from 8am until 8pm.
