Lyons looks to perk up coffee sales

Coffee brand Lyons has unveiled an all-new portfolio for spring, comprising a new look complemented by additional blends and formats. In-store from 1 March, the range aims to drive new consumers into the category.

The all-new line-up features eye-catching illustrations and light-hearted blend names that tell the story of Lyons’ heritage. Two new variants, Perkadilly and Rockadero, offer further choice of flavour and strength. In addition, No.3 blend has been renamed Go-Joe – a nod to company founder Joseph Lyons – and Decaf is now Decaf Dreams.

The first to bring coffee bags to market, Lyons is also relaunching its offering in packs of 10 with fully recyclable packaging.

The range is available in Coffee Bags (x10 packs); Nespresso compatible capsules (x10 packs); Coffee Beans (500g and 227g bags); and Ground Coffee (227g bags).

The relaunch will be supported by a targeted media, social, digital, out-of-home and print campaign, also live from 1 March.

It’s set to be a great year for Lyons and we’re confident we’ll bring growth to the Roast & Ground coffee category with our new and improved range.”

All of Lyons’ coffee bags and sachets are certified as fully industrially compostable and if local recycling allows, the packaging can be added to food recycling or green waste bins.

The new-look Lyons products will be available to Nisa retailers from the 1 March.
