Walkers has launched a new TV campaign, fronted by brand ambassador Gary Lineker, who learns to share the hard way – literally. The advert sees Lineker working on a building site, where a colleague covers him in cement for refusing to share his crisps.
Rachel Holms, Walkers Marketing Director commented: “The new advert certainly has fun in (cement) bucket loads and shows in a tongue-in-cheek way just how much people love their Walkers. The new campaign will drive awareness amongst consumers boosting sales for retailers and the crisps, snacks and nuts category.”
The ad will be supported by a marketing campaign including social and digital activity, alongside a new “fresh taste guaranteed” on-pack and in-store activities.
