Scotmid CEO John Brodie (pictured) has been awarded an MBE in the 2018 New Year Honours list. The award is for services to business and the voluntary sector.
Brodie also recently (January 1) became Chairman of the Scottish Retail Consortium, succeeding Andrew Murphy.
Scotmid launched a joke book at end of last year, to help raise funds for the Samaritans and Cash for Kids charities.
