Snacking giant pladis has appointed Jennifer Moss as global Chief Research and Development (R&D) Officer. She will start her new role in November 2020.

Moss, who holds a PhD in Chemical Engineering, will join the pladis leadership team to focus on a “cutting-edge approach to innovation” to build a pipeline of new products to meet the needs of consumers.

Her extensive background in FMCG and R&D spans nearly three decades, having worked for companies including Procter & Gamble, Unilever and, most recently, at Campbell Arnott’s. She joins pladis, home to a baking and confectionery heritage, with strong credentials in both.

Welcoming Moss to the company, pladis boss Salman Amin said: “We’re thrilled to welcome Jennifer to lead our R&D team. Innovation sits at the heart of our business and Jennifer’s vast experience and proven track record in innovation across product, packaging, sensory, culinary, and nutrition will help us further our ambitions. I’m confident that Jennifer is the perfect addition to our team as we focus on growing our star brands globally.”
