Pladis has unveiled a non-HFSS alternative to its Jacob’s Crinklys range which contains 30% less fat than fried potato crisps.
Jacob’s Crinklys non-HFSS is available now in existing flavour combinations Cheese & Onion and Salt & Vinegar in multipacks of 6 x 23g bags (RSP £1.35). Both variants are also available in 150g sharing bags.
Exclusive to independent retailers, the Salt & Vinegar flavour is also rolling out in £1.25 price-marked packs.
Asli Akman, Marketing Director – pladis UK&I, said the new multipacks were especially easy for shoppers to spot with unmissable ‘30% Less Fat’ flashes, along with ‘Oven-Baked’ flashes on the entire range.
She added: “By emphasising these points of difference on-pack, we’re confident we will increase appeal for Jacob’s Crinklys across the board and attract savoury snacking shoppers looking for something a little lighter to tuck into.”
