Imperial’s new blu 2.0 device hits convenience

Imperial Tobacco’s next-generation blu 2.0 vape device is now rolling out to the wholesale and convenience channels, following its launch in multiple retail in late 2022.

The compact new device features several upgrades from the original myblu device, including a longer-lasting battery, offering 262 puffs per charge, and bigger 1.9ml volume liquidpods.

New ceramic heating pod technology also offers vapers a “smooth” and “rich” vaping experience, Imperial said.

The blu 2 device, which is compatible with a new range of pods, also features a magnetic lock designed to make it “easier than ever to change pods”.

It also boasts a ‘power tap,’ which lets users check the battery level “with a simple tap,”  Imperial added.

The supporting range of blu 2.0 pods features six new flavours including Golden Tobacco, Polar Menthol, Fresh Mint, Berry Mix, Blueberry Ice and Fresh Mango.

All are available in 9mg/ml and 18mg/ml nicotine strength variants.

The blu 2.0 device has an RSP of £9.99, with a pack of two liquidpods retailing at £6.99.
