Morrisons is upping the ante for independent Morrisons Daily operators with a Spend-stretch promotion exclusive to More Card customers shopping in franchise stores that have adopted the group’s loyalty scheme.

What’s more, the franchise offer has been further strengthened with over 200 extra own brand lines, including 30 from Morrisons’ premium range.

From 8th October More Card customers can earn an additional 1,500 points when they spend £15 or more in a Morrisons Daily franchise store. Morrisons More Card enables customers to bank five Points for every item they buy when they scan their More Card or app. Once a customer has saved 5,000 Points, they receive a Morrisons Fiver which can be redeemed on a future shop in a Morrisons supermarket or on Morrisons.com.

This is the latest milestone in the roll-out of the Morrisons More Card loyalty scheme to franchise partners, which began this summer. Independent retailers operating Morrisons Daily stores were the first in the sector to offer customers access to a supermarket loyalty scheme. The roll out means More Card members can now earn More Card Points on their purchases when shopping at their local Morrisons Daily convenience store.

In addition, Morrisons Daily franchise stores will have access to over 200 new own brand lines, which are being introduced over the next five weeks. More than half of these new products are fresh, with 30 lines from the group’s The Best range.

Morrisons currently has around 1,700 Morrisons Daily stores, over 700 of which are franchise outlets operating in forecourts and local neighbourhoods across the UK.
