Doritos is launching a limited-edition Black Garlic Dip and Stranger Things-themed party-sized bags to coincide with the final series of the Netflix show later this year.
The dip, which features a creamy texture and bold flavour profile, is designed to complement Doritos crisps and will be available in the run-up to Halloween. The black colour is intended to tie into the spooky season, a key sales period for savoury snacks.
The Stranger Things-themed pack designs will also roll out across Walkers Snacks brands including Monster Munch, Wotsits, Quavers and Squares. Packs will feature characters and graphics from the show’s Upside Down world and will be available in PMPs, grab bags and sharing formats.
Doritos is increasing the size of its party bags from 180g to 270g to support sharing occasions such as Stranger Things watch parties.
The launch will be supported by a multimedia campaign including in-store POS, digital assets, traditional media, social media, influencer activity and PR.
The Doritos Black Garlic Dip and themed packs are available now. Packs start from £1.35, with the 270g dip priced at £2.50 RSP.
