There’s nothing quite like the lingering aroma of Christmas dinner once the digestion of Brussels sprouts begins to kick in with a vengeance. When UTC thinks of Christmas dinner he’s reminded of that stat about cows being more harmful to the environment than cars, thanks to their methane emissions. And no wonder. Fresh produce supplier Produce World estimates that 15 million people dished up its products on Christmas Day, including 1,500,000kg of the afore-mentioned sprouts along with 1,500 tonnes of carrots and over three million cabbages. UTC’s getting hungry just thinking about it – never mind, just 11 months to go!
