Co-op has opened a larger store in Gourock, Inverclyde.
The 4,300sq ft outlet in Cardwell Road replaces two stores that operated on Cardwell Road and on Shore Street.
Co-op says it has a wider range of products and services than that offered by the two previous shops.
Mike Grant, Store Manager, said: “We are delighted to have the opportunity to launch Co-op’s newest store — we have had a great response, the new store has a great look and feel and the team is really enjoying welcoming the community.
“Our aim continues to be to operate at the heart of local life, and make a positive difference in the community. We have worked to develop the range, choice, products, and added services to create a really compelling offer to serve our community, conveniently.”
The new store employs 25 people and is open between 6am and 10pm daily.
