Co-op set to open new Aberdeen store

Co-op is set to open a new purpose-built store in Aberdeen on Friday (24 November).

The near 4,000sq ft King Street store, which regenerates formerly vacant land, has created 15 local jobs.

Opening between 7am-10pm daily, the store features hot food; in-store bakery, and Costa coffee dispenser. There is also a free cash machine and customer car parking is set to include two electric vehicle charging points. In addition, a soft plastic recycle unit is also available in store.

Ross O’Reilly, Manager of Co-op’s new Aberdeen store, said: “The store has a great look. It has been purpose-built to deliver an excellent shopping experience, and we are really looking forward to welcoming Members and customers into their Co-op.”
