Spar Mid Street in Keith was officially opened on Saturday 7th December with a red ribbon cutting by store owner Paul McBain.
Paul said: “The store has been the talk of the town with regards to its fresh, bright look and the new dairy cabinets with doors have seen a number of fellow retailers viewing them along with the new lighting as a way of improving their operations. I have never been so pleased with the outcome of the refit and store specifications which we now have and the many positive responses from customers when they are in the store. We have had a steady three weeks and sales are on target to where we want to be and the future of the store is looking very bright for a long and happy relationship with all concerned.”
The new store offers customers an extensive range of products including award winning wines, groceries and fresh food to suit all taste buds as well as services such as lottery and mobile phone top up.
Meanwhile, the Spar service station in Polbeth has been given a full makeover by Denis McCormack, who owns and runs the store along with brother William. Denis said: “Since we opened the shop 30 years ago we have continually put the needs of our customers to the fore to ensure we are able to deliver high quality products and service. This redevelopment will allow us to continue to meet the needs of all our customers through an expanded product range and enhanced shop facilities in the years ahead.”
