Back by popular demand, Simon Howie’s chocolate haggis has returned in time for Hogmanay and Burns Night.
For the relaunch, Simon Howie has teamed up with Walker’s Shortbread and Mrs Tilly’s to create a new recipe featuring chunks of all-butter shortbread and fudge.
The Chocolate Haggis was first launched in 2024 as a limited-edition dessert for Burns Night. While the brand was keen to bring it back for January 2025, a legal dispute with Cadbury over the product’s previous purple packaging made this impossible.
Simon Howie’s Chocolate Haggis (RSP £5) will be available in Tesco from 26 December and from Asda, Sainsbury’s, Morrisons and Scotmid from 1 January. The limited-edition product will be off shelves after 26 January.
