Burton’s brings back Creme Egg Biscuits

After attracting an estimated 850,000 new shoppers to the Cadbury range of biscuits, Burton’s Biscuit Company – which produces the range under licence – has announced Cadbury Creme Egg Biscuits will be returning for Easter 2015.

The line will be available in shelf-ready packaging of 12, at an rrp of £1.79, from 1st January 2015 until Easter Monday.

“During their first Easter, Cadbury Creme Egg Biscuits drove category growth within special treats, ahead of sweet biscuits, bringing in an additional 850,000 buyers to Cadbury sweet biscuits over 17 weeks,” says David Costello, Burton’s Biscuit Company’s Head of Customer Category Management. “Shoppers love the delicious combination of Creme Egg and biscuit – but they also see it as an additional purchase alongside traditional Easter confectionery. We’re sure consumer demand will be high for Easter 2015.”
