Lanark-based Border Biscuits is celebrating the success of its Dark Chocolate Gingers, which has topped the UK sales charts making it the nation’s best-selling chocolate ginger biscuit.
Sales of Dark Chocolate Gingers have been at an all-time high throughout 2015 and over 20 million biscuits have been produced, using up 155 tonnes of chocolate.
The entire chocolate ginger range continues to perform well for the biscuit manufacturer, with its younger sister, the Milk Chocolate Ginger recently picking up a 2015 Great Taste ranking.
Border Biscuits has been “overwhelmed” by the popularity of Dark Chocolate Gingers.
