Ascona Group arrives in Scotland

Fast-growing forecourt operator Ascona Group has taken on its first site in Scotland.

Ascona Group has taken on Springfield Road Service Station, Aberdeen, on a 20-year lease.

The site, which comprises about 3,200sq ft of retail space with more than 30 parking spaces, is in a prominent location about two miles west of Aberdeen city centre with frontage to Springfield Road.

The forecourt, which will become a BP-branded petrol station with Nisa convenience store and a Greggs, is due to open in a couple of months.

Manoj Tugnait, property director north from Ascona Group, said: “The acquisition of Springfield Road Service Station brings Ascona to Scotland for the first time, something we are very excited about. following an extensive refurbishment programme, which will include BP branded fuel, a Nisa convenience store, and a Greggs.”
