All eyes on Las Vegas as shortlist is announced for SLR Rewards 2015

Welcome to Las Vegas

The shortlist for this year’s SLR Rewards has been unveiled following the successful completion of the first phase of judging.  After establishing a longlist of entries in each category, a team of industry experts drew up a shortlist of three entries in each category.

After last year’s relaunch of the event as the SLR Rewards (rather than Awards), the programme saw a huge rise in the number of stores entering, many for the first time. This trend has been continued again in 2015 highlighting the increasingly high standards of convenience retail in Scotland, reflected in the strength and diversity of this year’s shortlists.

The SLR Rewards recognise and reward excellence and hard work across the Scottish local retailing industry, with each category winner receiving a spectacular and valuable Reward that benefits their business as well as rewarding their own hard work and dedication.  Following in the footsteps of the Marwaha family in Glasgow, the winner of the Scottish Local Retailer of the Year will be heading off to Las Vegas to attend the NACS Conference 2015 later this year!

All shortlisted entrants are invited to attend the Awards as a guest of SLR.

The winners will be unveiled at the awards ceremony at Grand Central Hotel in Glasgow on Thursday 4th June.
