PayPoint retailers can now offer digital Roblox vouchers to customers, thanks to a new partnership between the payment system firm and the immersive gaming platform.

The move follows a successful trial launch of the partnership, which saw nearly 10% of stores issuing Roblox vouchers.

Customers at over 30,000 stores will now be able to purchase Roblox vouchers between £10 and £200, at a time when retailers are seeing a rise in demand for digital gaming vouchers, claimed PayPoint. The firm’s digital gaming voucher portfolio already includes Google Play, Nintendo, PlayStation and Xbox.

The digital vouchers also provide a secure purchasing platform for Roblox players, allowing them to top-up and credit their accounts or gift families and friends. Through the partnership, customers who buy Roblox digital vouchers via PayPoint retailers can receive up to 25% more Robux in comparison to purchases via mobile and consoles.

Antony Sappor, Retail Proposition and Partnerships Director, PayPoint said: “We are delighted to continue the expansion of our gaming voucher portfolio for retailers, with customers now able to purchase discounted Robux safely and securely in-store, enhancing their overall gaming experience.

“With over 97 million daily active users on the platform, this also means that retailers now have access to a broad pool of potential customers, with increased sales potential.”
