World of Sweets has unveiled a new Gumi Yum Surprise Minions range, available from 1 June, ahead of the release of Minions & Monsters in cinemas on 1 July 2026.
The format combines fruit-flavoured gummy candy strips with a surprise toy and is aimed at children and parents looking for novelty confectionery. The sugar-dusted gummies come in eight flavours: cherry, strawberry, orange, pineapple, lemon, green apple, blue raspberry, and grape, with the candy wrapped around an egg inner containing the toy.
The Minions launch builds on the existing performance of Gumi Yum Surprise in the UK, which has generated £4.6m RSV.
Gumi Yum Surprise Minions will be available in 26g single units, packed 18 per case, with an RRP of £1.50. Pre-filled FSDUs will also be available to support in-store visibility.
