Windmill Organics is launching two organic water kefirs under its Raw Vibrant Living brand, available to retailers from July in two flavours with an RSP of £2.89.
Made with live cultures and low in sugar, the new drinks are naturally fermented, lightly sparkling and come in Cherry and Mango & Passionfruit flavours. Both feature bold branding designed to stand out on shelf.
UK functional beverage sales are up 24.5% year on year, with nearly 30% of households now purchasing functional drinks. Water kefir is emerging within the category as a soft drink alternative.
The Raw Vibrant Living range focuses on minimally processed products, with the wider portfolio including sauerkrauts, apple cider vinegar, honey, olive oil and kombucha.
