Dairy Crest’s Vitalite dairy free spread has received a gold commendation in the Milk Alternatives category at the Free From Food Awards.
At the UK’s only industry awards for free-from food, Vitalite was the only spread product to be shortlisted in the highly competitive Milk Alternatives category, going on to beat off a host of new product entrants to win a gold award.
The judges praised Vitalite for its creamy texture and buttery flavour, stating that it would be difficult to distinguish the dairy-free spread from regular, full dairy products due to its great taste and spreading credentials.
