Vitabiotics has added to its Wellkid range with the launch of Wellkid Multi-vitamin liquid, which includes a range of 15 vitamins and minerals, as well as Swiss Alpine malt, to help maintain all round health.
With an orange flavour, Wellkid Multi-vitamin liquid is the first-ever comprehensive multivitamin liquid just for kids, offering a straightforward way to help safeguard the nutritional intake of children aged 4-12 years.
Vitamin D is naturally produced when the skin is exposed to sunlight, and is an essential nutrient needed for normal growth and development of bone in children. During the winter months daylight hours are shorter, and children are in nursery or in school for most of that time, making it harder for kids to achieve the recommended levels of vitamin D.
Wellkid is the first children’s supplement to incorporate 10µg of vitamin D, based on the latest recommendations by the UK Scientific Advisory Committee on Nutrition. It also includes 40µg iodine to aid growth and 5mg iron, which contributes to normal cognitive development.
